Australian pacer http://www.senore.com/Cricket/TM-Dilshan-c2691 to rock the hosts on the opening day of the second Test match, being played at the Pallekele International
Cricket Stadium on September 8, 2011.
At the end of 6 overs the hosts moved on to 11 for the loss of two key wickets.
It was Lankan skipper, Dilshan, who won the toss and elected to bat first, hoping to take an  early advantage in the Test match.
However, the start did not go as planned as his fellow opener Paranavitana failed to open his account and edged one to wicket-keeper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BJ-Haddin-c1170.
The Aussie quick, Ryan Harris, was booming with confidence with his last day heroics in the first Test, where the player grabbed a decisive five-wicket haul to clinch his side an important victory.
The start got even better for the visitors as Copeland bowled an absolute beauty, which clipped the bails as Dilshan offered no shot.
The ball nipped back sharply off  the  track, with Dilshan stepping ahead to leave it, only to see the delivery strike the top of off-stump.
The Lankan skipper could only muster four, leaving the ever reliable pairing of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DPMD-Jayawardene-c1397, to dig deep and take their team out of the mess.
With 1-0 down in the series, it was a perfect toss to win for the Asian Power House, as the pitch seemed like a good batting track.
Kangaroos' skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MJ-Clarke-c1978, himself admitted at the toss report that his side would have wanted to bat first as well; however, looking at the proceedings he would be a very happy captain right now.
Both sides had a few changes before the match, with the Sri Lankan's handing a debut to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BAW-Mendis-c1127, also missed out due to a sore back, meaning that
the youngster got a well deserved chance.
As for the visitors, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/RT-Ponting-c2377 flew back home due to family reasons.
