West Indies were in a steady position after losing three quick wickets against India in the first One Day International (ODI) of the five match series at the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.

Toss was won by the stand in Indian skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739, who opted to field first on a good batting pitch. However, he expected the conditions to become easier for the batsmen in the second half of the game.
Sehwag will be leading the side for the entire ODI series, as regular skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 had requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that he wanted some time off in order to spend time with friends and family.

The ball took the inside edge and crashed into the stumps. Simmons was sent back to the pavilion after scoring 19 runs, as the team was in a spot of bother with 52/3.
However, Hyatt and Bravo have played decently since then and will look to continue batting like this until the batting power-play.
