At the end of 10 overs, Zimbabwe have moved onto 22 for the loss of 1 wicket in the 3rd One Day International against Bangladesh, played at the Harare Sports Club, August 16, 2011.
It was opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/BRM-Taylor-c1200.
It was not third time lucky for the Zimbabwean captain, as this time his counterpart Shakib Al http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hasan-c61990, won the toss and put the hosts into bat first.
In his toss interview, Shakib was aware of the fact that the new ball will aid his quick bowlers, and so have played three front seamers.  Also there were quite a few changes to the team, which left out http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Abdur-Razzaq-c41689. There
was a debut handed to Shuvagoto Hom.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shafiul-Islam-c2479 opened the attack for the visitors and bowled a tight first over, costing just a single run. There was certainly a bit more bite and pace in the pitch as witnessed by a good carry to the wicket-keeper.
Zimbabwe started cautiously, with the ball offering some swing as well.  The first five overs went, without any meaningful event, as the batting side were crawling at exact 2 runs per over.
The first boundary came in the sixth over, with Sibanda playing the shot of the day. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nazmul-Hussain-c78994 bowled a delivery, slightly back of the length, which the opener executed superbly through the extra cover region.
The next over was also eventful, but for the bowling side. Islam bowled a wide delivery which http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Junaid-Siddique-c1749 made no
mistake.
Zimbabwean Captain has yet to fire in this series so far and again walked back cheaply to the pavilion with 4 to his name.
It was now the inform paring of Masakadza and Sibanda on the crease, where both will be hoping to up the scoring rate, which is currently just a touch over 2.
Bangladesh needs to win the match in order to keep the series alive.
