LIZARD INVASION!!!!!!!

Question

every nite there are little geichos all over our porch. i know its because they like the bugs that come torwards the porch light. now they're getting in the house!!

what do i do to get rid of them!?

Get a cat!

1.) Enjoy the free entertainment and insect extermination that nature has provided you.

2.) Put a yellow bulb in the porch socket, or just use a citronella candle on the table.  (If these are floods to provide light over a large area of yard - hire a professional and have them located on either end of the house, and away from the porch.)

3.) Install a bug zapper away from the porch to draw the insects from the porch area, and away from you.

4.) If there are no insects in your house, the geckos will have nothing to eat and will find their way back outside.  If they remain in the house, then they are doing you the service of removing unwanted insects and spiders from your residence.  

They are harmless little creatures.  I always enjoyed watching them when I lived out west.

All you have to do is change the porch light to one of the yellow bug lights.... the bugs can't see yellow light, they won't come, the lizards will go elsewhere for dinner.

just leave them alone. they do more good than harm. which do you like better, one or two harmless geckos,  or a swarm of pestilent, itchy, and possibly dangerous (mosquitoes in the right area are millions of times more dangerous than any large land, air, or water  based predator) insects invading your homes in many more multiples than the geckos. IMO, the animals were there before you were, the land is their home, not yours. let them be :)

Ok i have the same problem when i lived in howiie and what i did was get masquito repelent and spray it every night before you go to bed on the porch or wherever they get in or yea get a cat! but i would recomend the mosquito repelent then in a while they are gone for good!

well coffee grounds work they dont like that and you can catch them and sell them as pets for money just a tip  XD

Like you said they are after bugs, spray to kill bugs no food no lizards.

i have to ideas. 1:turn porch lite off. 2:try to get a house dog/cat to catch them all.hope my advice helps.
