I am planning to open a restaurant/bakery. Is it better to form an LLC or Corporation?

  1. You definitely want to incorporate a restaurant.  If someone sues because they say they got sick on your food, you could be in some serious liability.

    I would say a regular corporation would be better, but definitely consult an attorney who specializes in this type of thing.


  2. You can just do it in your own name as your private business.  I don't see you facing any huge "liability" problems that justify paying $1,000 for corporation papers.  You can do that later when you are getting rich. /
