LOCKED OUT OF ROOM ?

My doorknob is the one with pins that you can push up to unlock it HOWEVER I have tried and its not working. THe hinges of the door are on the inside. Tips or suggestions, please? I have my whole life inside that room.

Carefully pry away the stop board by the door handle.  This is the trim that the door closes against.  When you have a small gap, push in a credit card where the nob is.  Wiggle the door while doing this.  This should push in the latch and open the door.
