LOL, anyone not white is automatically black huh?

Question

I heard people say Barack Obama looks black because black genes are dominant over white genes, but that's not true. If you've seen Barack Obama Sr., Obama's dad has almost completely black skin (he's from Kenya). Obama actually has brownish skin, MUCH lighter than his dad's skin. So, are people really implying that "not white" = black? Cuz that's the message I'm getting.

uhhhhhhhh of course his skin is gonna be lighter then his dad,s i mean his mom is white so he has her genes mixed with his dads!!!! but yes his dad,s genes are stronger because he looks much more black!

The reason people refer to Obama as black is because he has chosen to embrace black culture. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin. He attended a church with a radical black minister for years. Do some research on the subject and read his book. I think you'll understand.

Skin is only part of being black..He has the lips, hair, and nostrsols of a black man as opposed to a white man.

There are people who have real light skin, but they're African American, thus black.  He's half black and identifies as black.  Wow, you must be like, 10 or something, cuz I'm 13 and I know that.
