The two Ligue 1 giants are keen on signing Algerian international Nabil Ghilas who is currently plying his trade in the Portuguese Primeira Liga for Moreirense where he is scoring goals for fun
The profile of Algerian international, Nabil Ghilas seems to be a very attractive option for Ligue 1 sides, particularly, Olympique de Marseille, AS Saint-Etienne and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lille-OSC-c39800. Reports claim that all these aforementioned sides are really keen on signing
the young striker.
Ghilas 22, is currently playing in the Liga Sagres in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Portugal-c2984 for relegation-threatened Moreirense FC where he has been in fine form this season. So far, the youngster has not been able to evolve at the highest level but some really cheeky and outrageous
efficiency in front of goal for the Portuguese minnows has raised his profile in the Iberian region.
The French-born striker has been the revelation of the season and despite his side being rock bottom in the table, has been able to score 7 goals in 12 league games. Inevitably, the youngster’s performances have aroused interest from different French clubs.
Reports in Record claim that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 have already sent their people on a scouting mission. The scouts have been impressed with what they have seen of the youngster.
As a native of Marseille, Ghilas, whose elder brother Kamel is playing for Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims, is not really aware about the interest his performances have garnered.
While talking to bloGolo, the youngster said that so far, no one has contacted me but added that playing for Marseille would be a dream for him.
“Nobody has contacted me. I let my agent manage these issues. But OM is a dream! It’s very flattering but I am not taking it in the head. I am at Moreirense and I think especially for this season. Because football is not only a dream. We are playing for
survival and that’s what I am thinking of right now,” said Ghilas in a rather diplomatic tone.
And, bloGolo claims that Les Phoceens will have to overcome some obstacles if they are to bring the striker to Stade Velodrome. Apart from the already discussed Ligue 1 sides, Braga are also keen on signing the youngster.
The second issue is of money involved. The Portuguese strugglers want just 1 million euros for the striker who is under contract with them until June 2014 so it would be a race for who can outbid the other suitors.
