LOSC Lille looking to end Moussa Sow soap opera – Ligue 1 news
Earlier this week, it was announced that reigning French Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille striker Moussa Sow was itching for a move away from the Stade Metropole Villeneuve d’Ascq amid reports that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Senegal-c3001 international was not satisfied with what Les Dogues
for offering him for a contract extension.
The 25-year-old was looking for a salary increment and had put contract talks on hold after both parties failed to reach an agreement. However, reports in French media now suggest that the French champions are willing to grant Sow a contract extension along
with better terms which the former Rennais man had been calling for ages.
While talking to the media, Rudi Garcia, coach of Les Dogues also supported Sow and said that the player is not disturbed by the off the field problems and is doing well in training.
“The discussions have not gone far but that does not mean they will not succeed. Everyone defends their stance, it’s normal. I want him to get a new contract and play with us. He will stay in our team,” the French tactician said while talking to francefootbaal.com.
Eager to play in the UEFA Champions League this season, the former Rennes man has also said that he is looking to replicate the form of 2010/2011 season to the 2011/2012 season.

With Moussa promised of getting a new and improved contract, Rudi Garcia can definitely heave a sigh of relief as the Frenchman was also not certain regarding the future of Sow who had been linked with a move away from Lille all season.
