LOSC Lille rule out Eden Hazard’s sale to Arsenal FC – Ligue 1 news
Reigning French Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille have ruled out the sale of highly-rated Belgian international http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863 to English Premier League side Arsenal FC.
The Gunners were linked with a move for the 20-year-old midfielder a few days ago as manager Arsene Wenger looks to bring in a good midfielder following the departure of Cesc Fabregas to Spanish La Liga giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
However, Les Dogues are not willing to let go of their prized asset who was the driving force behind Lille’s historic domestic double in the 2010/2011 Ligue 1 campaign. Reports in British media suggested that Arsenal were vying a 30 million Euros bid for
the Belgian but Lille are not prepared to change their stance on Hazard’s future.
Director General of the Lille, Frederic Paquet, while talking to BBC said that Eden will not leave Stade Metropole this summer. “We recognise the interest of some of the biggest clubs in Europe for Hazard, but we are not ready to sell. He is happy here and
wants to stay for at least another season,” Paquet said while talking to BBC.
Though Lille are not looking to cash in on the youngster just yet, Hazard might be allowed to leave the French champions next summer if Lille find a direct replacement for last season’s UNFP Player of the Season.

Fans of Arsenal have been calling for Arsene Wenger to spend some money in the transfer window to buy a good
midfielder but so far, Wenger has not signed a single experienced player to his squad.
