LOSC Lille sign Marko Basa from Lokomotiv Moscow – Ligue 1 news
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Montenegro-c2959 international Marko Basa has signed for French Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille from Russian Premier League club Lokomotiv Moscow. According to reports, the 28-year-old defender has signed a contract that would keep him at the Stade Villeneuve d’Ascq
until 2015.
The defender is a product of OFK Belgrade youth academy and is s=considered to be one of the best defenders produced by Montenegro. Basa has already played in the Ligue 1 before. In 2005, he signed for Le Mans and made 95 appearances for the club before
departing for Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008.
However, things never really worked out for the Montenegrin in the Russian capital as he failed to settle down. Consequently, Basa lost his place in the starting XI. Lille were interested in signing the defender last summer but Lokomotiv chose to keep hold
of the player.
Basa has now returned to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991. Lille coach Rudi Garcia unveiled the player at a press conference and while talking to the media, Basa said,
“I have been in contact with Lille for a long time and I’m glad that it’s done. I have joined an ambitious club.” Basa has already worked under Rudi Garcia during his time with Le Mans and the defender admitted that he chose Lille because of Rudi Garcia.

The 24-year-old winger has been linked with a move away from Stade Geoffroy-Guichard for a long time and might sign for LOSC in the coming
days.
