The 30-year-old is not yet sure whether he will be staying at the LOSC or not beyond the current campaign. However, while talking to L’Equipe, the Englishman gave his opinion on the French Ligue 1.
Cole said that though the stadiums in France are not as beautiful as the ones in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, he feels that many clubs are actually on the same level as the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham and Chelsea. However, Cole also said that the only difference is
that these clubs can’t afford spending big on players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 or Kun Aguero.
Cole likes the atmosphere in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 and says that English football should get some inspiration with how close journalists are with players.
“The interviews just before the match and in the middle and end are very nice, I think Premier League should be inspired from this.”
While talking about his favourite players in France, Cole admitted to being a fan of new teammate Nolan Roux before he arrived at Lille. Cole revealed that he was very happy when Roux signed for Les Dogues because his players had a lot of trouble in holding
on to the striker when he was at Stade Brestois.
“The left winger of Rennes. I’m terrible with names. Pitroipa? Yes. I think he is good. In Paris, I like Valbuen and Nene. Loic Remy is also very good,” said Cole while talking about players he feels are really good.
With his future at the club still to be sorted out, Cole has said that he is happy to be at Lille and his family likes it here as well. However, Cole revealed that he is yet to speak with Liverpool regarding a permanent stay.
