Paris Saint-Germain’s reluctance to sell Nene has not hampered Lille’s efforts to snatch the winger away from their rival club
Anderson Luiz de Carvalho, also known as Nene is a Brazilian footballer and currently plays for Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain. The player has been left in limbo by his club’s management and the future of the 30-year-old is uncertain in Paris.
Nene’s agent slammed PSG’s management for not treating his client well a few days ago. According to the player’s representatives, Les Parisiens are not serious in offering a new contract to the player, who has a year left on his current contract.
The uncertainty at his current club has alerted many clubs including LOSC Lille, who are keeping tabs on the former Monaco man. Lille have shown their interest in the player who was PSG’s top scorer in the last two seasons.
Like PSG, Lille are also very active in the transfer market. The 2010/2011 French champions have already signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marvin-Martin-c24496 from Sochaux and now want to add Nene to strengthen their squad.
Les Dogues have the money to invest in the transfer market following the 40-million-Euros sale of their star man http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786. Lille finished third in 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign and want to add some quality players in their ranks to challenge the
likes of PSG and Montpellier for the Championelle.
According to reports, PSG are not willing to extend Nene’s current contract despite the player being in great form for the capital club. However, Les Parisiens do not want to sell a player of such talent to their rival Ligue 1 club.
That has frustrated the player who thinks he deserves more respect from the club. Unless PSG meet the player’s demand, Nene will not stick around for much longer. The Brazilian believes that its time to move on and it is rumoured that the player is in search
for a new club and will hand in a transfer request in next few days.
Lille's financial condition is good and are willing to offer hefty wages to Nene and want to add few more players before the start of the season. The ambitions of Les Dogues are a clear warning for its rival clubs and next Ligue 1 season promises to be a
mouth-watering and entertaining campaign.
