Uh. . . let's just say that Joe Louis would have knocked out a prime, young Foreman. . . .and Foreman dealt with FraZier in two rounds. . . .  period.

Thumbs up to gannoway, I agree.  Frazier was very good, maybe even lower five top ten all time good, but he wasn't good enough to take a prime Joe Louis.  Frazier took too much punishment getting in close enough to land his own big shots, and he would have eventually have taken too much.  Louis had KO power in either hand, and the amount of shots Frazier would have taken early would have added up to a late round TKO in Louis's favor.

Joe Louis would have just been too good all round for Frazier. I'd say he would pretty much dismantle him and then KO him around rounds 7 to 9.

Frazier like a bull the first 3 rounds, but Louis to strong and fast for Frazier. Louis wears him down and knocks him out in the 11-13 round. Louis dominates from the 6th round on. As the fight continues, Frazier gets a little paniced and starts lunging with his hook and Louis hits him with his jab and upper cut.

This will be a war like the thrilla in Manila. Joe Frazier will knock Joe Louis down early in the fight, then the middle rounds are even with both open up on one another then Joe Louis will win the last 3 rounds closing Joe Frazier eyes and Joe Frazier corner won't allow him to come out for the 15th round.
