LPG gas cylinder for BBQ?

If I have a LPG gas cylinder for BBQ and not use it for over 6 months will the gas gradually escape from the cylinder?

Not unless you have a defective valve.

No gas will ever escape unless it has a way to. Check the valve and the cylinder for leaks. You can do that by applying soap solution and see for bubbles.

if you put a razor wire fence around it it won't.  The other guys that posted first are correct.
