LPG vs coal?

On gasoline vs. LPG, I have read that using gasoline for automobiles is still better than using LPG. The material says that LPG's molecues are bigger and that it stays longer.

On another aspect, due to continued gas price hikes, households are starting to use coal for cooking, just like in the old days, in place of LPG.

Which is more eco-friendly? Coal or LPG? Or is there a better alternative, aside from "eating raw foods"?

  1. Coal can be liquefied and made into a diesel substitute and can be burned in large truck applications.. I heard that the military is making it.. The technology must not be too advanced as Germany did it when they had no fuel at the end of WW2.

  2. LPG contains no fly ash, mercury or radioactive materials in it.   Coal does.   Natural gas (methane) is the cleanest burning hydrocarbon.

  3. both of them causes pollution in the environment so whatever is more eco friendly to the two, they are not eco friendly. people can never avoid using those things because those things are cheap to use. so, i will say neither of them are eco friendly. in my opinion, i think we must just try to lessen the use of energy because we can never obtain zero waste in whatever we do. people will perhaps rather choose to eat what they want instead of being more eco friendly.
