LSD, more then hallucinations?

Question

Could it be more then just hallucnations? I feel extremely connected to nature and spiritually blissed. I even had a vision of the future which was like a concious premonition (a friend I hadn't seen in 2 years suddenly knocks on my door), I wrote it down, it came true 2 days later!

...of course it is more than hallucinations.  

It is a doorway...different doors for different people.  Over 20 years since my last, but no negative effects noted yet.  My doorway was into beauty, spirituality and awareness.  Got to a spiritual place where I could get high and transcend just on specific music and thoughts....no drugs needed.  Can truly say though that some people have bad trips....don't know why they do, don't know why there particular door is bad.....just that it is.......and it can leave scars.  But also know that native tribes have used hallucinogens with sweat ceremony or prayer ceremony for centuries in spirit journeys that are used to guide and provide revelations to the participant.  ALSO must say that hallucinogens are not the only path into those areas..........

I am glad you had a good experience on the stuff, as for me, It gave me 35 years of very bad mental illness which I am just surfacing from, exeptionally evil stuff. Don't take any more, leave it there with good memories.

those are the positive effects of your LSD experience, however it is up to you to stop this,the mind is something

powerful and the moment will come ,when your brain will be

Hallucinogens have been used in native cultures for centuries.  Typically, the spiritual guides will use peyote, mescilin, or mushrooms to allow them to release their attachment to the physical world and explore the spiritual environment.  Sometimes, they are just exploring or learning of the non-physical world, but, at other time, they are actually looking for non-physical influences that are having an effect on the physical world.

The big difference between these "holy men" and most people who take LSD today is the intention and the environment in which it is consumed.  The shaman and spiritual leaders in these societies treated these experiences with a great deal of respect, and they approached them as learning experiences.  Sometimes, the experiences could be frightening, but they typically took these drugs with a guide who was not on the drug.  This gave them a means to "return to the physical" world if the situation got out of hand.

I'm not convinced that LSD can spur precognition, but I am convinced that you can see reality in a completely different way if you are careful, respectful, and accept the experience for what it is - a few hours with increased brain activity.  LSD is a drug.  It's not magic.  The magic comes from inside of you.

I too become more aware and bonded with nature and have explored deeper parts of spirituality during these times.

In regards to you premonition, I believe that you may already have this ability deep seeded within you (as it is rarely something that people can learn of how to do this), but it is simply the fact that your brain has opened doorways that are normally just ajar. This means that you have hope to be able to train your self to keep this door open.

Of course, it could just be co-incidence, but if so, it would be a very big one!!

Personally, I say, keep takin, n explore your world, physically and mentally!! Have fun!

Perhaps  you already are connected to nature and spiritually blessed anyway. Perhaps LSD is dampening your full potential... and it was spirit trying to tell you that you don't need hallucinogenics to be connected and blessed!

i believe that you do have premonitions of some kind i have had many of the same type of experiences as you, i believe everybody can achieve this psychic ability even if they are not on  anything, but people in there natural state can open up as much naturally. but with hallucinogens your mind is completely open to anything especially the spiritual world.

Mostly it's just trips, fantasy and coincidence, but it must also be said that it can open up people's minds in strange and unexpected ways, so maybe you're not wrong.
