1. I am proud to be a LSU fan, make no mistake about that. Concerning this years schedule, I have even said that if LSU should go undefeated, something hard to pull off in the SEC, that I'm not sure that even that would get them in the National Title game this year, because they are playing with a very weak non-conference schedule. I think it will all depend on where every team ends up at the end of the year. If all other teams have 1 to 2 loses and LSU is undefeated, then I think they will get another title shot. If any other teams are undefeated, say Ohio and Texas and LSU, then I think the title shot will go to Ohio and Texas, due to LSU's weak non-conference games.

  2. For the most part these schools schedule teams at least 4 to 5 years in advance. So it is not Les Miles fault for the schedule, but give props to Tubberville (although West "by God" Virginia wasn't that strong 5 or so years ago), Fulmer, and Richt. None of the other coaches were at the current schools when these schedules were devoloped. Also, as for So. Carolina, Florida, and Kentucky, those non-conf. games are against in state rivals and usually played every year. But a few years back, when he was at Florida, Spurrier cut out the yearly date with Miami and it is now played like 4 out of every 10 years, or something like that I believe.

  3. I was the one that said that. LSU did play Va Tech last year and in 2002 I think. They Also have played Arizona and Arizona State a couple of year ago. Your research really just proved my point though.

In all way all because most of the teams you named are cream puffs

Alabama destroyed Clemson and South Carolina will do the same

Auburn will beat W.Virginia because of thier quick defense will shutdown Pat White and Noel Devine.

Florida will crush Miami. Even though Miami is a little better they are still in rebuild mode.

Georgia will beat Arizona State, but Georgia might loose to either Florida Auburn of LSU. (3 SEC Teams)

Arkansas will loose to Texas because they are in rebuild mode

MIssissippi State vs G tech is a toss up. I think State will stop the triple option but they may have a hard time scoring

Ole Miss will probably loose to Wake Forest

Vandy will beat Duke. No explanation needed.

:VOLS will beat UCLA because UCLA has lost two qbs and they are too slow,

Also LSU plays troy. Troy isnt a bad team and Applachain State isnt a bad team. Im and Alabama and Auburn fan. It seems like you dont like LSU. You didnt say anything about Auburn playing UL monroe and Tenn. Martin, or bama playing Tulane Western Kentucky or Arkansas State. Id rather have AUB or BAMA play for a national championship, but if any SEC teams can get through the schedule with only 1 loss then they deserve a shot to win the National Championship game.

  4. I am no fan of LSU,but in their defense. I think it is wise to schedule patsies when you already play in the toughest conference in football. That includes a conference championship game. Unlike some teams who play in a weak conference with no title game.Yet someway still find themselves playing for the championship game rested ,healthy and untested.
