LT first pick in the FFB draft?????

Can anyone give me a good reason not to take LT with the number one pick in my up comming draft, and if so who would you pick and why?

  1. The only good reason that I could think of not to take LT #1 would be if you're in a league with non-standard scoring rules that emphasizes QBs or WRs. I had him #1 on the draft lists for all my leagues again this year. There isn't any real reason to think he won't merit the pick again this year in most leagues - he's on one of the top teams, he's still in the good age range. On top of that, he plays the KC, Denver, and Oakland D's twice each. Last year they were #28, 30 and 31 against the run and gave up 49 TDs on the ground. I don't see any reason to expect a huge improvement this year. The Jets, Dolphins, Bills, and Falcons were all also in the bottom 8 run defenses last year.


  2. There isn't a good reason. LT has been consistent over his career production-wise. Take LT with the first pick.

  3. The only real reason that I can come up with is if you're in a PPR league.  If so, Westbrook is a viable alternative.  Otherwise, stick with Mr. Consistency.
