My sister and her husband have full custody of her two step-sons, the last time they went to see their mother, one of the boys told the mother all kinds of lies about my sister and her husband, saying their abusive and all kinds of other little lies. the other brother was so upset because the mother was trying to get them to say bad things. so protective services got involved and investigated and found everything was good. Now its started up again the older one is 13 and the younger one is 10.. the 10 year old was crying to my sister last night about somthing bad happening to her because the mom and the older son have somthing planed and its not good. the mother is telling the older one that it will all be over soon and they will be living with her. whats going on here? I told my sister to get that older boy out of the house he is causing to much trouble. my sister also has two younger daughters I hate to see them in any danger. would anyone else here make the older boy leave?

  1. i think the court needs to go in. especially if the girls are in danger.

  2. I would contact protective services with the father of the two boys. He should be just as, if not more involved than you. You should alert them that the mother is up to something according to the 10 year old. She is the one who needs to be removed from your life not the 13 year old. She knows better, he doesn't. That is unless you don't want to deal with your stepson which is fair but not best for his situation. His father will always be his father and its up to you to have a civil relationship with him so they can carry on. I know the son hates you and so on but you have to remain the bigger person.

  3. definitely contact the police!!!

  4. i have seen a situation similiar to this.  my cousin lost custody for a few months due to child neglect.  her brother took the kids in.  from the time they moved in to now, she has caused nothing but problems.  u would think that her brother is the one who took the kids away not CPS.

the best thing is to contact the social worker and tell her whats going on.  your sister/bil needs a lawyer before things get out of hand.   it might be better for the older child to live elsewhere.

  5. try getting him into a hobby such as video games or card games to help him keep out of trouble and keep him occupied i know this is a great way to calm a person down because im 15 i was a little demon when i was 12-14 then i was introduced to card games such as naruto and well thats about it and then playing the video games helped me cool off depending if it include killing the sh_it out of something or not (gears of war) but then again he could be the person to take stuff like that into reality and then its all bad. but in a sense by your sister telling the 10 year old that it will be all over soon that would scare me if i where you so in thought it seems your sisters is already pushed over the edge. it might be safer to keep a very close eye on your sister and find something to keep the 13 year old occupied  and prove to your sister that he can change his attitude. just try to find a hobby that he likes and can get in to

  6. CONTACT THE POLICE!!!!!! AND TELL THEM WHAT'S GOING ON!

  7. I would give the 13 year old the option of living with his mom.  Keep the 10 year old.  Call a lawyer or child services and tell them what is going on.  The other children need to be protected.  Obviously the 10 year old feels that their safety net is with the dad and step-mom.  DO NOT allow that child to feel that she has no safe place to be!  At 13 years old that child has made up his mind that he is going to make life a living h**l unless he gets his way!  Don't give him the power struggle that he is looking for.

  8. i would get him a therapist he obviously have some hostility towards the family if this doesn't work a group home would be my next option as you don't want him groping the daughters do you?

  9. I don't think yahoo answers can help you. Maybe you could take this to court because it is serious
