  1. No, the n**i sign was not huge.  The airship burned in 1937, not 1960.  There was color photography in 1937.

  2. The Zeppelins of the n**i era were the LZ-127 Graf Zeppelin, the LZ-129 Hindenburg, and the LZ-130 Graf Zeppelin II.  The LZ-128 was not completed.

These airships were marked with a national non-military version of the Swastika flag, suitable for display on ships and public buildings.  This consists of a red circle with a black swastika inscribed, and a rectangular black field around the red roundel.  These were painted on the upper and lower vertical fins, and were about 35 feet in diameter each.

The LZ-130 Hindenburg was 803 feet long.  The fiery crash at Lakehurst Naval Air Station, New Jersey, occurred in June of 1937.

You will find a large amount of information by doing an internet search on "LZ-129 Hindenburg."

Color photography was widespread in 1937.  Photoshop was developed in the 1990s.

  3. You need to re-evaluate this project.

The event you're talking about was 1937, not 1960.  Sorry, but you're going down in flames already, pardon the pun.

    P.S. Color photography wasn't invented until 1957.

(I stand corrected...Kodak introduced Kodachrome color 35 mm film in 1935. It's possible that the color photos are genuine, although in all the years, I've never seen any color photos of the event. Check it against a reputable known site.)
