La Belle Doyenne favourite for the Fakenham Mares’ Intermediate Open National Hunt

Seven entries have been confirmed for the Fakenham Mares’ Intermediate Open National Hunt flat race at Fakenham in England on Friday, February 17, 2012. The cash prize for winning the event is £2,053.
Out of the seven runners, La Belle Doyenne has been tipped to finish on top. She has taken part in a couple of National Hunt races and managed to win one of them whereas failed to make an impression in the other.
Despite that, the bookmakers have rated La Belle Doyenne as the favourite for Fakenham. She will be partnered by jockey, Charlie Huxley, who has got a pretty decent record in such events.
The punters will definitely be interested in investing their money on the four-year-old mare, trained by Alan King.
Despite the poor show of La Belle Doyenne in her last outing at Newbury on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, King will be hoping that she delivers a strong result today. Her struggle last time was because of the soft ground.
Hernello, trained by Dr Richard Newland, has been given a decent starting price despite the fact that she has not made her debut until now. She will be the surprise package of the day and the bettors will be keeping an eye on her performance.
Another runner expected to make an impact today is, Nuisance. She has taken part in one National Hunt race and finished third in it. The four-year-old filly did a decent job, as she gave a tough time to the runners ahead of her. However, her team will be
expecting her to finish on top of the table this time around.
Tom Symonds’ trained filly will be partnered by A. P. Cawley, who has won three National Hunt Races out of 10 in his career.
Kevin Morgan’s trained mare, Raamz, will enter the race with a starting price of 5 to 1. She has entered a couple of races in her career, but failed to win any of them. However, her performances have been good, as she finished third on both occasions. Jockey,
Adam Wedge will be riding her today.
Another mare entering the race with a starting price of 5 to 1 is, Shalatina. She will be making her debut today and will be partnered by Trevor Whelan.
La Belle Doyenne is the only participant with a victory to her name and she has the best chance to finish on top today.
