  1. I am assuming the person above me went on the same trip I did, with a different delegation.

France is great, like he said, the Parisians are very nice, I had more of a problem with Italians not liking Americans. It has a very lax atmosphere, people are friendly, and the ones who speak english are quite talkative, and great conversationalists, especially the cab drivers. The pictures don't do any of the major landmarks justice, nor does wha anyone could ever say about it. I found it so great a place I actually plan to live there for a year, if not more, very soon.

  2. Gosh there are soo many things.

One is that French people ARENT s****.!!!

They just have a different culture than you..they believe that you have to be very self confident. Also dont ever smile to the French (you know how Americans smile to be polite) They will think you are a cheater or a hypocrite, they only smile if you tell a joke or think something is really funny. Also DONT TAKE A CAR!!! Also take the metro its like a subway. Also there are like almost NO taxis in France, even at the airport. Oh yes also if you ever get lost ALWAYS go to someone of the opposite s*x , trust me!!!!!!! The French are huge flirters and they will always help you better! And my last final advic when asking anyone for help always use these words: Dispénseme para perturbarle. It means excuse me for disturbing you then you either say Madame or Meisuer. THey will help you alot more faster

  3. paris, le moulin rouge...

serieusement j'y vis c'est moins drôle...

  4. I went there in January with my best friend and loved it. Out of the 3 countries we visitied -it was by far the most fun. Its so not true that Parisians don't like Americans-

  5. well , i'm french and I can speak about my country since hours ! Wonderful country where we love to have fun, There are always something to do here ! Our story is complicated but we figth for a good thing ( like french revolution ! ) We hate injustice it's why there are many demonstration ! A french people doesn't let when he doesn't agree ! We don't snob too ! It's just our prononciation which give it's impression !

So I hope that I could help you ... If you are an other question, ask me !

Excuse me for my english but I don't speak english very well .. :s

  6. Well, a lot (born there and lived there on three occasions, most recently from 1997 to 2001). However the first thing that comes to mind at the moment is how misrepresented and misunderstood it tends to be in the United States (which is where I live). The first two people who answered are welcome reminders that not everybody here feels animosity towards French people however.
