La Liga Goal Summary: Real Madrid vs Osasuna – Part 1
Real Madrid played host to Osasuna, as they looked to maintain their spot at the top of the La Liga table, ahead of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
Madrid had gone on to win their midweek Champions League clash and were hence going into the game on top of their form, as they looked to make short work of Osasuna.
In the 23rd minute, Madrid went on to score the opening goal of the game. Di Maria went on to curl in a cross, which flew towards Ronaldo. The forward went on to nudge the ball, as he helped it roll into the back of the net.
In the 30th minute, Osasuna went on to level the game, as they looked to try and take a point from the match. The visitors were awarded a free kick, which was taken very quickly. The ball was passed to Ibrahima, who made no mistake, as he slotted
the ball past Casillas and into the back of the net.
In the 33rd minute, Madrid went on to restore their lead in the game. Di Maria once again went on to curl in a dangerous ball, as he looked to create an opening. Pepe went on to head the ball across the goal and despite http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 trying to tap the
ball and claim the goal, it was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670 who got awarded the goal.
In the 39th minute, Madrid went on to take the three goals to on lead. Ozil and Di Maria went on to combine with some brilliant passes and then Di Maria opted to play a cheeky pass to Higuain. The striker then went on to cut across the goal and
bend in a beautiful shot, which flow into the top corner of the goal.
As a result, the first half came to an end, with Madrid leading at the break by three goals to one and with the second half promising to produce a whole lot more goals.
