The second half kicked off with a bang, as Madrid continued their domination.
In the 54th minute, Ozil was taken out in the box and Satrusegui, who committed the foul was shown a second yellow for his efforts. Ronaldo stepped up to take the resulting penalty and made no mistake as he sent the keeper the wrong way, as he
shot landed in the goal.

In the 80th minute, just when it looked like Madrid might take a slightly slower approach to the game, they went on to attack Osasuna once again. Arbeloa won the ball in the visitors half and then played a pass to Benzema, who converted with a
brilliant finish. As a result, Madrid were now winning by seven goals to one.
As the match headed into its dying stages, Madrid continued to attack the Osasuna goal time and time again.
However, once the clock displayed ninety minutes, the referee wasted no time allowing extra time to be played, as he signalled the end of the game, which saw Madrid win by seven goals to one.
