the goal. The goal was made possible, mostly due to the terrible defending that Almeria were displaying in the game.
In the 74th minute, Ronaldo went on to score his 40th goal of the La Liga season. The forward steamed towards the Almeria goal and just when it looked like he would lay a pass off, he went on to shoot a fine effort into the side of the goal, well beyond
the reach of the keeper.
In the 76th minute, the Madrid players gave Dudek a guard of honour as he was replaced by Jesus Fernandez. In doing so, Dudek had now completed his last game as a Madrid player.
In the 83rd minute, Joselu came on in place of Benzema. Just a minute after coming on, the young forward went on to meet a cross from Ronaldo and thumped a fine effort into the back of the net in the 84th minute of the game.
That goal from the young player, was all Ronaldo though. The attacker received a flick on from Ozil and danced his way towards the Almeria area. He then took his time to calculate a pass and then crossed in a pin point delivery onto the feet of Joselu, who
had the simplest of tasks to thump the ball into the back of the net.
Soon after, the match came to an end with Madrid riding out the season in style.
