La Liga News: Barcelona planning to raid Valencia again as they scout Juan Mata
The Spanish football club Barcelona has shown interest in a number of international players in the recent past. The news comes as one of the best teams in the world is considering changing their line-up by inducting new talent to their team.
They have already signed the famous Spanish and Valencia star David Villa who was a big contender in winning the golden boot award during the FIFA World Cup 2010. Villa has already scored three goals in three matches in South Africa which justifies that
notion. The Spanish player is really happy that Barcelona has signed him and says that he will try to keep his goal scoring form intact.
Another rumour circulating is that the Catalan giants are interested in Valencia’s winger Juan Mata. On the contrary, Mata has stated that he is not planning to move to Barcelona after a successful run with Valencia. There is speculation that Barcelona have
agreed the terms with the winger already and had agreed terms of a one-year contract.
Barcelona had even announced the cash amount which they had paid to the Spanish winger, which was approximately sixteen and a half million pounds. He said that Barcelona did not even approach him and he continued his conversation by saying that he does not
want to make a move to Barcelona or anywhere else and is happy with Valencia. His teammate David Villa however, is already a part of Barcelona and is performing extraordinarily well for them with five goals to his name already.
Quite recently, Barcelona has been trying to grab the attention of the media by buying the best available players in the world. They bought Inter Milan star Ibrahimovic at the expense of their own centre forward Samuel Eto’o, who went to Inter Milan as a
“swap deal” and later Zlatan joined Milan on a loan deal and left Guardiola in a striking mess as Barcelona are still looking for a striker like Ibra and Samuel Eto'o.
Besides Ibrahimovic, Barcelona bought Valencia star David Villa who performed brilliantly in the last season and is planning on scoring more goals for the Catalan side after scoring the five he alredy has.
Cesc Fabregas, the Arsenal captain, has been really interested in the Barcelona side and really wants to sign for them. He has been reported time and again that he wants to make a move to the Spanish side as he was born in Spain and was in the youth academy
of Barcelona. His father pleaded the Gunner’s president to “let his son go” after a dramatic speech that Cesc pulled off with Arsene Wenger, the Arsenal Coach. Although there have been no rumours about the signing of Fabregas, but Barcelona president agrees
to the fact that they are making negotiations with the English club and wants the best for Fabregas and Arsenal.
Besides Fabregas, Barcelona is also interested in buying the Liverpool striker Fernando Torres, who scored a brace against the English Champions Chelsea. According to sources, Barcelona is highly interested in buying the Liverpool player for $25 million.
However, there are no confirmed news reports about the story.
There was no comment about this from "Nando's" side, but after the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who joined the Italian side AC Milan; Barcelona is going to need a striker. Experts predict that Torres is going to be the perfect option for them. In other
reports, Torres has also been linked up with a swap deal between him and Wayne Rooney of Manchester United or Carlos Tevez of Manchester City; however, both the strikers are currently happy in their clubs.
With the winter transfer window opening up and Cesc Fabregas almost being out of reach for Barcelona, the Catalan giants are definitely going to try their best to sign the best players available to them and Mata is definitely one of them as he is performing
amazingly for them.
