Jose Luis Mendilibar’s team consigned Barcelona to their second defeat of the season and La Blaugrana now trail Real Madrid by 10 points in La Liga.
Victor Valdes (4): A shambolic performance by the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 number 2. The Catalan goalkeeper was off-colour for the match as he misplaced passes. He deserved the yellow-card shown for leaving his area and coming out to
complain for time wasting tactics by Osasuna players. It was definitely a night to forget for the shot-stopper.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nino-c28051 in check for Osasuna’s third goal and picked up a booking to complete a miserable night on
the pitch. He did not look like his usual self and did nothing of note for the entire game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664 Pique (4): The former Manchester United man did not complete the match and was rightly substituted for Cesc Fabregas with twenty minutes yet to be played. La Masia graduate is usually a brick wall for opposing
teams but was found wanting by Los Rojillos attackers time and time again.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 Garcia for the first goal, who easily hacked the ball off him. The world-cup winner was at
fault for Osasuna’s first goal and was a shadow of his normal self.
Eric Abidal (5): The French defender was caught napping for the hosts’ first goal as he played the on-rushing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dejan-Lekic-c10777 onside.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-c34888 Alcantara (6.5): The youngster was energetic in his displays from the center of the pitch as he filled in for Xavi Hernandez. He was a constant menace for the opposing midfield, who failed to keep him in check.
His presence in the midfield was the sole reason for Barcelona’s immense possession in the second half.
Sergi Roberto (4.5): La Masia academy graduate had a dismal outing. Asked to step up from the reserve team, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 played the entire match but failed to ignite it with his displays as he was anonymous for most of the
game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Javier-Mascherano-c18071 (6): The former Argentine captain shuffled from midfield to centre defence across the two periods. He was solid in his tackles but failed to win the midfield battle in the first half.
Alexis Sanchez (7): A constant threat to Andres Fernandez’s goal throughout the match. He was unfortunate to score only one goal on the night, with a couple of dubious decisions going against him.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 (6.5): Frustration poured from the Argentine’s face as he failed to hit the back of the net from two clear-cut chances. He was always kept in check by Osasuna defenders but still managed to showcase his
brilliant talent.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 Rodriguez (6): Taken off at half-time to make space for the enterprising Cristian Tello. The Spanish world-cup winner was off-colour and was kept quiet by the plethora of rushing Los Rojillos players.
Isaac Cuenca (7): The protagonist of Barcelona’s comeback. He provided the excellent ball for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexis-Sánchez-c4979’s goal. One of the latest footballers to come off the conveyor belt of La Masia and he gave a telling exhibition
of his skills.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristian-c9491 Tello (7): He scored the second goal for Barcelona as he completed another good outing for his boyhood club. He is another gem from La Blaugarana’s youth academy and he showed that he has a bright future on
his hands.
Cesc Fabregas (6.5): He was lively for the 25 minutes he was on the pitch and provided the final delivery for Tello’s goal. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, but he failed to
put the ball past Andres Fernandez.
