La Liga is the best league in the world says Sepp Blatter
One of the most popular football leagues, Primera Division (First Division), is the most professional football league in the world.
The world football governing body FIFA’s President, Sepp Blatter, declared the Spanish league the best in the world and ‘Premier League should learn from it’.

Primera Division, also known as, La Liga, or, Liga BBVA, for sponsoring reasons, is the top league of Liga de Futbol Profesional, Spain. A total of 59 teams participate in the league out of which nine have been crowned champions so far.
According to the latest UEFA coefficient ranking, it’s declared as the second strongest league in Europe.

The 74-year old FIFA President asserted that the Spanish league had the highest number of local players and there are few English players in the FIFA World XI, which also undermined the importance of the Barclays Premier League.
He said, “English league is a good league with a good combination of players and good infrastructure when you consider the FIFA World XI, you would know there are more Spanish players. But English Premier League can learn from Spanish League”.
