La Liga player ratings: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Getafe-CF-c39419 2 – 3 Real Madrid (Part 1)
Real Madrid travelled to Coliseum Alfonso Pérez for ‘the other Madrid derby’. Since http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 had won their league fixture against Levante earlier on the weekend, the pressure was on Los Galacticos to keep up with the league leaders.
In a game that also celebrated the return of Brazilian Kaka, Madrid won the game by a 2 – 3 score line with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 scoring yet another brace. Mesut Ozil also found the score sheet.
Bettor.com now analyses the performances of players who took to the pitch.
Getafe CF
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordi-Codina-c19113 – 5
The Spaniard had an atrocious outing against Galacticos. While he had no chance with Ronaldo’s penalty, Codina was to blame for the other two goals.
Mane – 6
Mane was extremely unlucky in conceding the penalty as Di Maria made most of a slight tug to his sleeve. To his credit however, Azulones no 3 recovered well to put in a steady shift for the remaining 80 minutes.
Miguel Torres – 5
Miguel lost his personal battle with Cristiano Ronaldo and that alone decided the fate of this game. The mercurial Portuguese dragged the defender all across the back en route to his brace.
Rafa Lopez – 6
Lopez made sure Benzema had an anonymous outing – not a difficult task these days – but was beaten all ends up by Di Maria’s sublime pass for Madrid’s second goal.
Daniel Diaz – 6.5
It was a battling performance by the Argentine defender who was unlucky to be on the losing side. Diaz dealt with Ronaldo rather impressively but his fellow defenders let him down on the night.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Derek-Boateng-c10959 – 5
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 international made most of his physical attributes as he frequently broke up play for El Geta. However, his passing was woeful at best and Madrid duly punished him for his slack possession play.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dani-Parejo-c9878 – 7.5
It was a sensational performance by Parejo against his former team. The 21 year old was impressive with his passing and scored a sublime solo goal in the first half. Judging on this performance, Parejo will move to a bigger club sooner than later.
Pedro Rias – 7
Rias gave Marcelo a torrid time in the first half with his intelligent runs. Right wing was where El Geta looked most threatening and it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Rias played on the right. Interestingly, Pedro Rias was substituted early in the second
half.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manu-del-Moral-c23377 – 5
While Rias was having an impressive outing, opposite held true for Moral who struggled against defensively stout Arbeloa.
Jaime Gavilan – 6
The Spaniard worked his socks off but couldn’t find the target when presented with the opportunities; needs to on improve his decision making if he is to improve as a footballer.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miku-c25758 – 5
An anonymous outing for the Venezuelan forward who spent the night resting in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 Albiol’s pocket. Even though he did make his physical presence felt at time, it was clearly not enough to hurt Real Madrid.
Substitutes:
Juan Albin – 6.5
The Uruguayan should have started instead of Miku as he instantly made an impact when introduced. Albin scored a good goal to keep Azulones in the game.
Pedro Mosquera – 6
A word class cross to create Albin’s goal, Mosquera had a decent outing in the second half.
Francisco Casquero – 5
Casquero was given 25 minutes to impress but all he could muster was a scuffed shot that failed to trouble Casillas in Madrid goal.
