La Liga transfer speculations
Giuseppe Rossi to stay at Villarreal
Villarreal striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giuseppe-Rossi-c15027 will stay with La Liga side Villareal despite interest from a number of Italian clubs.
Many Italian clubs are reported to be interested in the 23-year old striker but his agent insists that as long as the hopeful clients don’t dig deep in their pockets, nothing will be said or done. Last summer the Italy international was reportedly a key
target for Serie A giants Juventus but a move never materialised.
It also remains to be seen if Rossi will want to leave Villarreal, who are currently in third place in La Liga with 33 points, and have a great chance to qualify for the Champions League.
Jorge Valdano won’t let any player go!
Real Madrid Director General Jorge Valdano has made it clear that his side will not allow any Madrid player to leave the team during the upcoming January transfer window.
Many Madrid players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ezequiel-Garay-c13071 had been linked with moves away from the club. However Valdano says these are only speculations, and there will be no change in team when the January transfer window closes.
The director general also confirmed that Real Madrid will not go in the market to find a replacement for injured Argentine striker, Gonzalo Higuain. It was also reported that Serie A and FIFA Club World Champions, Inter Milan were interested in signing Kaka.
However new manager Leonardo has made it clear that there is no way the former AC Milan playmaker will arrive at Internazionale .
The reports of Kaka’s departure were made even more realistic, when http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jorge-c19120 Valdano said that he would accept a big offer for the 28-year old Brazilian.
However Leonardo believes that he knows Kaka and is certain that as long as Kaka does well with Madrid, he would never consider leaving the Spanish giants.
When http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan president Massimo Moratti was asked whther he would sign any new players in the January transfer window, he joked that he would sign five new players now that Rafael Benitez is gone.
