La Reyna????

Question

I have been hanging out with my mexican friends,they are all guys, and i have dated each one of them, they gave me a nickname La Reyna, I know it is "the queen" they smile when they say it, and have been really nice to me. Im not queen like at all. why would they give me that nickname. Is there another meaning to this nickname. if anyone knows, please tell me. cuz i have no idea. thanks.

I don't think so, I have a lot of spanish friends who call people "mi reina" in an affectionate way, if they're important for them... Not sure about mexican but really I can't think of any other explanation. Especially if you are a girl and they're all guys you're their queen and the should love and serve you all the time! ;-)

me and my friends call girls La Reyna when we think they are spoiled and have high demands but, we always say behind their backs. we mostly do this because they don't know what it means.
