I'm going to La Ronde with my school in a week or so and I was wondering a few things..

I plan on bringing a medium size bag with me on the trip, but plan on riding the roller-coasters.. Is there anywhere I can put it on the ride so It doesn't fly out of my seat?( Like cubbies..)

Also is it really dirty like traveling fairs?

And if you have any suggestions on anything like shoes, amount of money I should bring and what I should/ Shouldn't bring I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

  1. jean shorts and a Tee shirt is good. sunblock is good. you should wear tennis shoes. you should bring money and a bag cause I'm pretty sure there is going to be at least one person who doesn't get on every ride that can hold it for you. and if not, then hold it, or ask the person who starts and ends the ride to hold it for you.

  2. I think there are lockers at the entrance of the park, I don't exactly remember but I'm pretty sure they're there.  If not, maybe you could get someone to hold your bag for you.  If you're going to be riding the roller coasters, most people put their bags on the side before the coaster starts.  It's on the opposite side of the line-up and nobody can get there, so your things are safe.  And for other rides, you can basically carry your bag on your back, depending on what the ride is.

La Ronde is very clean.  It is not at all like a travelling fair, it's actually very nice!  Wear comfortable sneakers, you'll be walking around a bit.  Try not to bring too much, or you'll regret carrying it all.  But be sure to bring some sun lotion, and a jacket in case it rains or gets cold.  For money, I'd say no more than 20 $, unless you're into playing games.  The most you can spend your money on is food, souvenirs (umbrellas, etc.), photographs of yourself on the roller coasters, games, and so on.  Try to refrain from bringing expensive items that you might break, lose or get stolen, like iPods, digital cameras, and things, unless you reallllly want to take pictures.  You'll usually be too busy to take any pics though.

I hope you have fun at La Ronde, it's so much fun!  Be sure to try Le Vampire and Goliath if you're into big roller coasters.  Make sure you get a good spot in line, I was waiting for Le Vampire for 3 hours, worth it though!!
