La romana DR?

Question

im headed to la romana in 10 days..was wondering what the weather is like, is it rainy everyday..? thats what people tell me... also, staying at the oasis canoa...anyone familiar with this resort...lots to do? clean..etc...

ANY info would be muchly appreciated... thanks =-)

The region of La Romana is nice i've been there 2 times for business and stayed for a few days. I've been to discover La Isla Saona this is just fantastic!!

We stayed at Canoa Coral by Hilton.Don't know if this is the same resort or the name changed , Oasis may now own it.

Do a search on tripadvisor.com for reviews.

We loved the resort. Great beach and snorkeling right off the beach. Food was great and the staff wonderful. If you know some spanish, it's very helpful. Also, do tip the people that give you good service beyond the normal.

I really liked the La Romana area. The beach water was more like the Caribbean sea. Calm water.
