Laars Lite 2 pool heater

Laars Lite 2 pool heater will not fire. Pilot is on and I replaced the pressure switch. Had a similar problem at the start of the season but left on for a few hours it finally kicked in.Water pressure in system is good.Filter has been cleaned and backwashed several times.Not sure how to check switch and temp. setting dial.ThanksM.M.
