Last night the ball of my labret piercing fell off, is it ok to use a nose stud in my labret for a couple days until i can go buy a new one?

    as long as they are the same gauge you should be fine. although i do believe the nose stud and labret stud are around the same gauge.


  2. Yes and no. It'll get you by and keep the hole open (i hope you're talking about a nose stud of your own, otherwise you've got germ issues). But nostril studs are usually 18 ga, sometimes 16. A labret is usually a 14, sometimes a 16. So there's a slim chance the nose stud will be the same gauge as your lablret piercing, but it's not highly likely. That means you'll have to stretch the hole to get your regular labret stud in. If it were for a couple of hours while you go get a new one, it wouldn't be as bad, but over a few days, it'll definitely shrink significantly to the new jewelry. Since you shouldn't be changing it this soon anyway, stretching it back out would only make it worse. I'd try to find a labret stud the same gauge as the nose stud to put in and finish healing on. Then, after it's good and healed, you could carefully stretch it back up.
