what are good work outs to improve shot speed for lax. for example bench pressing or curling. what work outs will build up shot speed??

  1. A really good thing to do is take a broom handle or any stiff stick.  Take a rope.  Tie 1 end of the rope on the stick.  Now get a weight.  Tie the other end of the rope to the weight.  After you have finished making this let the weight hang down.  Slowly, turning the stick or broom stick in your hands, lift the weight up and then slowly, with the same movement let it down to the ground again.  Repeat this several times.  After a few you start feeling the burn in your wrists and forearms.
