Ladies, Help Im On my Period?

I am really pissed well not pissed but a little irriatated. I spent the night a my ex house last night and this morning of course i had to change my tampon. I put it in the garbage and tied the bag and then put it in the big garbage in the kitchen and told him to make sure he empty the garbage before he goes to work because i had a soiled tampon it there and i didn't want an accident to happen to where someone knock the can over and just so happen step on the with my tampon in it and his two guy friends see it.

Long story short, he didn't take the garbage out. I said i hope your friend don't see my tampon in the trash. He said don't worry about they seen someone on their period before. I was like that beside the point and i understand they have seen women on their cycle but that doesn't mean they have to know im on mine. He was like you are grown so don't worry about that kind of stuff. I told him i not worried i just think that is nasty for them to have to see my stuff and it does bother me because it a way it makes me look careless if they saw. He said i was taking overboard and i told him he's not a woman so he wouldn't understand where i was coming from.

my point was that it would have been different if he stayed by himself but he stays with two other guys. Why would i want them to see my tampon. I would dare want a man that not my boyfriend to see that kind of stuff. Even though i know its natural. I just feel like that not to be advertised. Am i right or wrong. If i took it overboard let me know and why.

Next time wrap it up and take it with you. Yes it is natural, but yes you want your privacy. I still do not like buying them because I feel everyone knows my business. But what are the chances of someone finding it in the garbage with it wrapped up. We all have plastic bags from wal-mart or whereever, so wrap the tampon in tissue or a paper towel and put it in the plastic bag and discard. I do this at home.

I totally agree with you girl! Thats a private matter of ours. I mean it's like, we don't just leave the bathroom door open when we're using it. Cause it's private. It's like that with girls and their periods too. Guys obviously don;t understand because their not the ones with the period so they don't know how girls can get embarssed of that. But you didn't go overboard at all! The same thing happened with my bf awhile back. He lives with his friend and i said the SAME thing and he was like "it doesn't matter". Guys will just never learn, but i feel ya girl :-p
