  1. Hot chocolate but it has to be heavy in the chocolate and as hot as you can drink it. Sitting in the tub in hot water also helps.

  2. I too suffer from severe menstrual cramping...mine is due to endometriosis (this is very common in women). I administer midol during the day and ibuprofen before bedtime because midol contains caffeine and I do not want to be up all night...I would not be able to function during the day or sleep well at night without applying a heating patch. I use to buy the heat patches that you apply to your back and put them on my lower abdomen but now they actually make them for the abdomen area for menstrual cramping--they are awesome--you can find them at walmart, walgreens--etc. Good luck!

  3. You can feel menstrual cramps in a lot of different places sometimes... in your lower belly, across the front of your hips, in your lower back and even in your buttocks or down your legs.

Your uterus is squeezing and sometimes sort of twisting, and that can be uncomfortable all by itself... but when it does that it can sometimes pull on the suspensory ligaments that hold it in position.  Those ligaments are attached to several other ligaments and muscles where they meet your pelvis, and a tug on any uterine ligament can sometimes make all the other tissues attached to the same area of the pelvis react as if *they've* been tugged at.

That can cause pain that rates *really* high on the scale... but it doesn't happen to all women, and most have only some discomfort or minor to moderate pain.

The simple and cheap way to help with cramps (it's also the quickest, and the most convenient and natural) is having an o****m by masturbating.   It doesn't work for *all* women, but it does help many... and for some, it can get rid of cramps entirely for a while.

"... an o****m can cause your uterus to contract, enabling it to use up excess prostaglandins in the process. Prostagladins are hormones produced by your uterine lining. They help to stimulate contractions that move menstrual blood out of the uterus, and are also responsible for those cramps that occur throughout your period."

  4.   take 2 Aleve, lie down, prop your feet up, and use an ice pack

  5. Take some pain killers? Put a hot water bottle or heat pack on your tummy?

  6. umm try taking ponstan... when i get my period it is really painful so painful i can't walk or keep anything down (even liquids), give ponstan a try. also heat bags on your stomach... near your ovaries.. yeah hope you feel better, because i know how it feels

  7. Have s*x

  8. me too girl, its really bad this month, i find that running a hot bubble bath not to hot and getting a good book and drinking some hot tea makes me feel so much better. also take some midol before you do it, that way the while your relaxin the pills will kick in. goodluck!!

  9. Advil, ibuprofen....pain meds or midol. Also use a heating pad or take a hot bath.

And in the future you could go on birth control....that helped me a lot.

  10. I also have horrendous cramps and debilitating pain when I menstruate. About 3 days before you start your period, start taking loading doses of Aleve (1,000 MGs) and it will help somewhat. Be sure you're stocked up on Iron and Calcium as well. Gentle stretching like this helps me- get on your hands and knees on the floor, and stretch putting your rear in the air, and contracting. Hot baths help a little too.

  11. Tylenol, advil, pain revilers, and that will help you out also do sit-ups they help, Or you can play relaxing music,do fun things to get your brain off your cramps

  12. i'm sure you already know, but that is natural. i get cramps too. just take some pain killers and maybe do some exercise... but not something that really makes you move too much. try yoga, it stretches your body and relieves stress. it works for me(:
