Ladies, have you ever been let go by a man and have him come back, even when it seemed hopeless?

Have you ever dated someone for a little while, had them break up with you and it seemed like they would never come back but then they did within months or even a year? What did they do to make you think it was hopeless and how long did it take for them to come back?

well we didn't really break up break up, but we were on a 'break' so close enough, but he came back to me in like a month. and it just felt hopeless because we were always fighting while we were on that break and it just didn't ever feel like he was gonna want me back. but he loves me way to much to really leave me.
