To be asked "How are you? Did you have a great day?" genuinely every day. I don't need all the flowers and poems, but I like to feel that my man cares about me.

Kind surprises are also sweet. For example, he noticed that I like Kit Kat bar. So once in a while, he'll buy me Kit Kat just because.

I don't buy into all the corny things that some women expect their men to do. Walks on the beach, candlelight dinner. Sure, these things sound nice, but I want my man to have fun, too.

When I can tell my man's plans are coming from the heart, it makes it that more special. The other night, we simply popped popcorn and cuddled up to watch a movie. Him planning the whole thing, knowing that I LOVE going to the movies, was the sweetest part.

I don't want him spending loads of money or buying into the cliche romance seen in movies. What I want is what my guy gives me--something sweet, something personal, and something we both can enjoy.

Beer and pizza nights watching our Province's football team continue their season UNDEAFETED. Other Canadians will know which glorious team I speak of.
