Ladies, is it unusual and strange for a guy to wear...?

Question

jogging pants (or any kind of long sports pants) when playing badminton? Is it inappropriate? Would it look stupid?

I asked a female friend and she said it would look strange because most people wear shorts.

I know i'm a guy, but the club I go to nearly every guy and most women there wear jogging pants. You are also protecting yourself so don't worry is is normal, no one will make an example of you.

baggy sweatpants would be fine, but track suits are for seniors with white hair and grandkids, just saying

any long sweatpants with striped down the sidese would be fine, when paired with a tee and cool sneakers
