Ladies, what is according to you the definition of 'romantic' ?

I can use some helpful tips, as my sweetie complaining to her girlie friends that I am not 'romantic' enough! Thanks for the input!

Romance is as different as the person whom you are romancing.  If you are a teenager romance means public displays of affection.  If you are in your twenties romance is a little different.  In general romance is a personal communication between two people that only means something to them.  Women love to be told how beautiful they are even if they have makeup smeared down there faces.  Sometimes just a touch of the hair or a whisper in her ear is very romantic.  Pay close attention to the movies she likes and that will tell you the general area to start in.  Sometimes just a very personal conversation about her dreams for the future will do  But if you do that and she mentions you in her long term plans DONT FREAK OUT! Listen and try to really hear her, after awhile you will be the most romantic man on earth, and remember flowers are always appreciated and moreso if thet are for no reason.  GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

open doors for her, pull out her chair if you go out to eat(make sure she doesn't fall off),buy her flowers or chocolates every now and then, even better if you can think of something original, even buy her fave chocolate bar and tell her you were thinking of her, if she's anything like me she'll melt!just be a classic gent.

romance can have a wide defination really - something as simple as bringing her a cuppa whilst she's watching her fave programme - or taking her out for an elaborate meal.

It could be giving her surprises or presents, or taking her to her favourite place for a day out.

Maybe organising a surprise day out to a beach with a nice picnic..

Only you know what kind of things your girlfriend is into - have a think about it and Im sure you'll find something suitable

We are all romantics us girls. We love flowers, chocs, and most of all attention. Sweet kisses and cuddles and told sometimes when it is meant genuinely that we look nice, smell nice, lovely dinner you cooked.

That sort of thing.

I think it is rather romantic that you bothered to ask us about it. It shows you care a lot for your girlfriend.

It does not have to be huge, but a little bit goes a long way.  Slip a note on the seat of her car next time you both get out for her to find or (if she doesn't think you snooped, a note right inside her purse.)

"I love you more each day, beautiful".  Or something will do.

Put a single rose in a vase and put it on her nightstand or in her kitchen without her seeing, then when she notices it, say that it reminded you of her... Blah Blah Blah.  

Give her a backrub or shoulder rub.  When she is sitting down, walk by and kiss her on the forehead and tell her how special she is.  

Make reservations somewhere and tell her to keep Saturday at 7:00 open becuase you want to spend that time with her... Remember, always open her door.  My husband still opens my door and runs out when I go to the store to help bring in heavy groceries.  I find that romantic.  Treat her like a lady.
