Ladies, why do your vocal chords sometimes jump a few octaves?

When you see something 'cute'. Eg, "OMG. THAT BABY IS SOOOOO CYOOOOOOT!"

  2. We get a bit excited sometimes - but so do men!

  3. Because if our vocal expression never changed, we'd be robots.

    Men do it, too.

  5. A few octaves?  Well considering most humans voices can only go within two octaves...no.  Though some singers like Whitney Huston (before the drugs), and Mariah Carry have been known to have a vocal range of three octaves.

    i mean..it would be weird if we talked in monotone...even when we got excited.

    and lets not forget s*x when a woman's voice goes up a few octaves...if we moaned in monotone..you men would think we were bored having s*x with you.
