Ladies? Been so sick lately-what could be the cause?

I know I'm out of catergory-but all the smart ones visit this section :)

The last month or so I wake up with nausea--sometimes a cuppa tea and a bite of bread will settle it-- other times it's most of the day. (I had a hysterectomy 10 yrs ago) My bowels have been off as well-whatever I eat seems to go through me very quickly. I'm overweight, but I've lost 12 lbs the last few weeks without trying. I do usually feel well enough to eat some lunch and dinner, but the last few days the nausea stays until late afternoon. I had a endoscopy and colonoscopy a few weeks ago and both came out OK.

I'm tired of feeling so sick and tired. Any ideas?

  1. Look down.. what sophia says.... seemed more helpfull so deleted wall of text........

Please see another Doctor though. And get your home tested for carbon monoxide.

  2. You need to get a complete blood work done. You will get a clear picture of what is going on with you out of it. Now, at this point it is very hard to say, but it could be a vitamin deficiency or weakened immune system. I would check your liver and kidneys just in case. You need to see a medical doctor ASAP. If you felt that poorly for the last month or so and your family doctor is not able to tell you what is wrong, why aren't you looking for someone who could? Please, take care of yourself, sweetheart! I will keep you in my prayers.
