Ladies British Masters to feature Curtis Cup Stars
Ladies British Masters is scheduled from August 16 to 18 and the field has been announced for the event. The event will be played in the Buckinghamshire Golf Club in Denham.
Sponsors invitations are an integral part of the entry list. Sponsors use this privilege to invite talented players who have made a name for themselves in the previous events.
This year, sponsors invitations for the Ladies British Masters will be used to invite members of the Curtis Cup team.
The first name is Charley Hull. The English golfer has made history by securing the 18th position in the recent Ladies Irish Open. She is an upcoming amateur who has played in many top events with great scores. She was a member of the GB&I Curtis
Cup Team.
Hull played in the Kraft Nabisco Championship and posted a score of one-over par. She also debuted on the LET with a fifth position and a score of one-under par. Fellow GB&I Curtis Cup team members to join Hull are Holly Clyburn and Amy Boulden.
Hull was very satisfied with her performance at the Ladies Irish open. She said, “I think it’s really cool to be playing on home turf and it’s not that far from where I live. I play quite nearby at Woburn and I haven’t played at the Buckinghamshire before”.
Holly Clyburn is visibly excited about the Ladies British Masters. She thinks that this event will give her an edge at the LET School. She is planning to join the training sessions later this year.
Amy Boulden has similar thoughts. She is looking forward to the Tour School and is grateful for a chance to play in the Ladies British Masters. The experience that she will get out of this tournament will be very useful in her career.
Amy said, “I am very excited to be playing in this event. It's going to be a great experience and a chance to test my game against the top professionals. My plan is to head to Tour school in December so this event will be great to get some valuable experience
to take with me. I am looking forward to getting out there and competing”.
