I don't but I've seen people who do. I always thought it was just legs that were supposed to be shaved?

  1. no, but i sort of want to.

i hate the hair on my arms, but bald arms look so weird to me  =S

  2. yes i do i just think all body hair is gross and F.Y.I. its just a MYTH  that hair grows back thicker if you shave it.( i cant believe you all don't

    know that )

  3. Yeah, cause I have dark hair there, way too noticeable for me. But most of the time I'll just shave if I'm in a hurry or use Veet.

  4. dont shave, the hair grows back thick. You can use nair on them if you want, but then its like bald arms. I trim them with a scissor if they get too long

  5. yea.it looks unnatural, but i have really hairy arms so i shave them anyway lol. they don't grow back thicker, mine actually grew back a little thinner.

  6. no u are supposed to wax your arms so the hair grows back the way it was. if you shave them it will be all stubby

  7. NO...you aren't supposed to. i've seen people who do it... it grows back really bad and you'll look like a man..but i suppose other people can do what they wanna do...men should wax their's off

  8. yeah. no dont do it. it'll just grow back thicker. and then you'll have to do it more often. just leave it, unless you want to look like a gorilla ;]

  9. It is not true that your hair grows back thicker after you shave it, look it up.

And if you have grose arm hair that looks black and nasty do it.

But my arms are perfect so i dont have to

  10. yup i do..i just started this summer...i just did it for fun and i really like the smoothness

it doesnt grow back wierd at all

for me its just really quick and easy to shave anyway

  11. I really don't know why people say that the hair grows thicker. It's actually a myth. It appears to grow thicker because you aren't used to seeing the hair for a little while. I used to shave my arms but now I use Nair or Veet hair removal. It's quicker, safer, and gives better results! Plus there hair grows back slower.

  12. I did when I was in 7th grade and it was a huuge mistake. It grew back thicker and kinda patchy since hair grows in two cycles. FYI: wax or sugar the hair off.

  13. Unfortunately not all of us have the luxury of light blonde hair on our arms that are hardly noticeable. I am one of the unlucky girls with very noticeable hair so, yes, I do shave my arms sometimes (and sometimes I get it waxed) because it is too gross to keep it on. If it was unnoticeable like some other girls I wouldn't touch the hair on my arms.

  14. I've thought about doing it before, but never really had the nerve.

    It looks somewhat un-natural.

Plus, i read they grow back thicker.

  15. well i used to have hairy arms and i twas embarrassing but i heard your arms get really prickly after a few days. but one day i nared my arms and every shower i take i just make shaving my arms a part of my shaving. it's not that long. i just do it when i leave my conditioner in.

  16. ya i do cuz i hate anykind of body hair but i hate how its unnatural and everyone askes if you do but i always tell them yes cuz it doesnt matter what they think i think i have the hariest arms EVER and i hate it

  17. No and even i ll advice u also not to use becase after that when u ll go for waxing it ll be very painful

  18. I don't personally, because I don't mind arm hair, but I hate the hair on the legs, so I shave my legs, ahah, but it's really up to you.

  19. for hygiene reasons i shave; having hair under your pits

causes build up of sweat and thus produces odour.

i use deodorant but its necessary to shave to stay clean.

  20. yes of course it looks uniformed, clean and put together that's if you are into the styles that's out now. It just hygenic and furthermore people remove all their hair from their body, from head to toe

  21. I shave my arms for the same reason I shave my legs; hairy limbs are not attractive. If you start though, you will have to maintain them in the same way you maintain your legs. But what's the big deal? When I shave my legs I spend an extra minute and do my arms. I think hairy arms on females are ugly. Most girls in Japan shave their arms, it's only a cultural thing that it's considered kind of "weird" in the U.S.

Everyone will tell you, "it'll grow back thicker" but then why shave your legs? Wouldn't that grow back thicker too? What's the difference? The thing is, I never see it because I pay attention to upkeep! It's not that different from shaving your legs.

  22. When wondering the same question, I asked a friend of mine and she said I shouldn't because it grows back darker...I don't know if thats true though...thought i'd just put it out there in case it is.

  23. I have, I prefer epilating (which removes hair at the root), or waxing (same idea). I just hate body hair in general, and my arm hair happens to be really dark, You can shave any part you want, a guy friend of mine shaves his chest, which is pretty common with bodybuilders.

  24. omg

    i used to do it

and it was a bad choice

they were not that hairy before i dot know what the h**l i was thinking

when i started shaving them at first i was like w/e but later on the hair would grow back so fast and so black i hate it but

good thing i only shaved them like twice

now i stopped and you cant even tell i shaved

but take my advice and DONT DO IT!!!

    you will regret it!!

    :)

  25. No. Arm stubble: definitely not attractive.

If the hairs were dark, I'd consider bleaching them instead or using hair removal cream in extreme cases, but mine are blonde anyway so who cares. It's one less thing to worry about.

  26. Yesm I always have, as every boy I've ever met thought it was really sick if you didn't... though I'm not blonde, so i really don't think I oculd get away without it. To be honest, I feel sexier when they're shaved, and cleaner. Nad they don't grow back quiker. Just shave them frequently!

  27. I do, for me they don't grow back thick or fast, they grow back every 3 weeks and don't come back thicker, I guess I am just lucky

  28. People who have excessive hair on their arms tend to shave them.

and no. Shaving your arm hair does not make it grow back thicker.

  29. If you have them waxed it will not grow back thicker.  In fact it grows back softer because some of the roots get damaged.  You can try bleaching the hair.  Only use bleaching products made for pubic areas.  Not head hair, that could be harsh on your skin.

    Hope this helps.

  30. I have shaved my arms for years.

It DOESN'T grow back thicker and blacker if you shave!!!!!

What happens is that the end of your hair is thinner than the roots so when you shave and it starts to grow back it grows back at the thickness of our roots, which is thicker, but your hair doesnt get thicker each time you shave, if you were to leave it again and not shave, your hair would bleach with the sun and wear down as it did before.

  31. yeah i do shave my arm... i guess for some people the hair grows back thicker and darker but mine doesnt. they stay soft for a long time and i think it just looks better :)
