As a guy, I'd never taken much notice of it myself until I had one the other day. I wondered if the marketing campaign had any effect on female consumers.

  1. It makes me want to eat it, so in that respect it's really clever marketing.

  2. Not at all, I didn't pay any attention when they launched that marketing campaign, but it may have made more men buy them if they thought it was a men only thing!!

  3. Not at all. In fact, it makes me want to defy this. I think it's a sales trick to get guys to buy it seemingly exclusively while girls buy it out of defying the warning.

  4. no i buy it deliberate lol

  5. no but the fact that it's twice the price of a kitkat!!!

  6. Don't be daft - it would take a lot more than print on a wrapper to keep girls away from chocolate.

In fact, if anything I would imagine the marketing campaign would increase sales due to some girls buying it just to make a point

  7. It's just reverse psychology -deny someone something and they'll want it even more it the campaigns idea I guess.  It's such transparent advertising it doesn't have the desired affect on me, but I don't find it offensive either.

  8. good question!!! after all people always tend to be more inclined to have something that they shouldnt! so if something for instance like a Yorkie bar says girls shouldnt have them...we are still gonna go for em'!!

besides, if you love chocolate (like myself) youll eat it regardless of wether the wrapping says 'not for girls'

    hope thats helpd!!

  9. Nope, it doesnt stop me buying it.

  10. No it does not but it annoys me.

  11. Lorry driver picks up attractive hitch hiker who asks him if there is any way she could repay him and he says

"No I can't think of anything"

She opens the top two buttons on her blouse and says

"Surely you can think of something?"

    After a pause he says

    "No, can't think of anything"

She lifts her dress up to just above the knee and says

"If you try really hard I'm sure something will pop up!"

"No, sorry, nothing comes to mind"

    Exasperated she says

"Don't you know I'm sitting on a lorry drivers favourite thing"

He pulls in to the lay-by just ahead and says

"Get your butt of my Yorkie Bar"
