Ladies-Have I started my period?

Hi, I was wandering if I have started my period. I am 13 coming up to 14 soon. I have been having discharge for about 1-2 years, my b*****s started growing about 2 years ago and I have pubic hair down below had that for about 4 years. A few days ago in the space of 3-5 days I had blood that came out on the tissue after I had been to the toilet and I had that twice and I had like a green/brown stain in my knickers and I know its not poo trust me. I had loads of cramps and headaches that were on and off that started about a week before and have just stopped. Please help me.

Yes, this is your period.  Early periods can include more brownish discharge than the red discharge you might expect.  Welcome to womanhood!

try this: hot bath to soothe the stomach, advil, pads/tampons.

You are starting your period pretty soon. This is how I started mine. Just prepare some sanitary pads, tampons and panty liners if your period is light. Don't forget an extra underwear as well.

Yeah, I think you have. You're at the right age, and if you have cramps and headaches, that's a pretty good sign. Talk to your mom, hon.
