If yes, how did you like that? Did you like taking charge or did you do it, only because the guy you liked didn't step up and you wished he would have done it?

  1. Yes I have and no, I do not like it because I don't like wearing my heart on my sleeve and having to face rejection.

  2. ya i've asked a few guys out...

dont see what the big deal is...and it's certainly not the "mans job"

  3. I did it. I even paid for the dinner. He wasn't in to me. It was okay. At least I learned about what was what on my time and saved myself the guessing. I believe I have no compunction to wait for the guy to do the asking. We only have so much time.

    C. :)

  4. I don't think anyone really gets off on the concept of asking people out, unless they suffer from the delusion that they are god's gift to men/women. The average person doesn't like to be put in a vulnerable state where rejection could happen. When I've asked guys out, its been after I was already sure they liked me. Some guys make it obvious that they need us to get the ball rollin.

  5. Yes. It worked, he agreed and we went steady for awhile. But i like it way better when they ask you out. It seems dumb when girls do it. I actually dont know why i did,.

  6. Yes. I did it because life should not be wasted. I guess you could say I siezed the date.

  7. Yes, I have. I was frustrated because I knew he liked me but he wasn't asking so I just took matters into my own hands. I generally like being asked and not asking- it's a security thing I suppose.

  8. WTF? No I did not, it is the mans job

  9. I think, many good chances are missed, because the man is shy or worried that he might do something wrong or being rejected in a rude way and does not go ahead.

There are also legal problems if you ask a woman first, you never know her reaction.

She might accept and tell you, finally you got the idea, why did you not ask earlier?...She might however tell you '**** off' and file a sexual harassment lawsuit against you.

It is especially difficult to go ahead as man, if both are working in the same company. You never know.

Hopefully some women will take over and ask first...if they are interested. Women have nothing  to worry about, when they approach a man. So, why not?

  10. y do u wanna kno any way?

but its a lot better when a guy asks a girl its a lot lot better!

  11. I asked because I liked him, what's hard to get about that.

  12. Yeah. I asked my first bf out, but that's because I already knew he liked me. He said that he's ready whenever I'm ready.  I prefer to do it, because I don't like dealing with guys that i don't like asking me out or bothering me.

My second bf asked me out, BUT he said that the girl always asked him out in the past.

Sometimes..it's just an "unsaid" thing that happens when you two are dating. This happened with my third bf, as he just assumed he was dating me before anything happened haha.

Some guys do get offended though. I've had this happen, because some traditional guys say it's desperate (I just don't like the guys that hit on me, duh) or feel emasculated. I say f*ck them.

When I like a guy, I will let him know..Most of the guys that make the move on me are guys that I don't like.
